TAJPM ENTERPRISES INDIANA LLC

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how TAJPM handles personal information in TAJPM Driver, TAJPM Connect and the related transportation platform.

Effective and last updated: August 3, 2026

1. Scope and who we are

TAJPM ENTERPRISES INDIANA LLC ("TAJPM," "we," "us" or "our") operates a school transportation platform used by drivers, parents and guardians, monitors, school district personnel and authorized TAJPM staff. This Privacy Policy applies to TAJPM Driver, TAJPM Connect, our administrative website and the services that support them (together, the "Services").

The Services are designed for authorized adults and transportation personnel. They are not intended for children to create or manage their own accounts. Information about student passengers is supplied and used by authorized parents, guardians, school districts and TAJPM personnel for transportation purposes.

2. Information we collect

  • Account and contact information: name, email address, telephone number, profile image, account role, authentication records, session information and notification preferences or push tokens.
  • Driver, monitor and vehicle information: date of birth, driver's license information, service areas, eligibility and account status, vehicle make, model, year, color, plate, VIN, capacity and vehicle image.
  • Qualification documents: documents or images submitted for operational and eligibility review, such as driver's licenses, registrations, insurance, inspections and other required compliance records, including their type, status and expiration date.
  • Passenger and family information: student name, image, date of birth, home and school information, grade, transportation notes, parent or guardian contact details and relationship, and assigned monitor information.
  • Routes and transportation records: route assignments, pickup and drop-off addresses and coordinates, planned and actual times, trip status, attendance or no-load events, cancellations, operational notes and route-related support messages.
  • Driver location and navigation information: precise location, direction, speed, route progress, estimated travel time, navigation events and position history. TAJPM Driver may collect and transmit precise location while a driver-initiated shift is active, including between routes and while the app is in the background or the device is not in active use. Collection starts when the driver taps Start shift and stops when the driver taps End shift.
  • Device and technical information: IP address, browser or device user agent, timestamps, app version, request and error logs, connection information and identifiers required to deliver push notifications.
  • Files and communications: photos, documents, support conversations, notification history and information you provide when contacting us or requesting account deletion.

TAJPM Connect displays the location and progress of authorized routes; it does not use a parent, monitor or district user's device location to provide live vehicle tracking. Camera and photo-library access occurs only when a user chooses to take or select an image or document.

3. How we obtain information

  • Directly from you when you register, update a profile or contact us.
  • From authorized districts, parents, guardians, administrators and transportation personnel who arrange or manage school transportation.
  • Automatically when the Services are used, including active-route location, application events, authentication sessions and server logs.
  • From service providers that support maps, navigation, uploads, notifications, email delivery, hosting and security.

4. Why we use information

  • Provide, coordinate and document school transportation services.
  • Show authorized users route assignments, vehicle progress, estimated arrival information and pickup or drop-off events.
  • Support turn-by-turn navigation, route tracking, dispatch and safety review for drivers.
  • Verify identity, roles, eligibility, documents and account access.
  • Deliver operational messages, push notifications, email and support.
  • Protect users and the Services, investigate incidents, prevent misuse, troubleshoot errors and comply with contractual or legal obligations.
  • Process account and data deletion requests.

Depending on applicable law, we process information to perform our services, with consent, to meet legal obligations, and for legitimate operational and safety interests that do not override individual rights.

5. When information is disclosed

We do not sell personal information and do not use it for advertising.

  • Authorized service participants: relevant route and passenger information may be visible to the assigned driver, monitor, parent or guardian, school district personnel and authorized TAJPM administrators according to their role.
  • Service providers: Mapbox supports maps, search and navigation; UploadThing supports file uploads and storage; Expo, Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging support push delivery; and Resend supports transactional email. Cloud hosting, database, security and infrastructure providers also process data on our behalf as needed to operate the Services.
  • Legal and safety reasons: we may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, valid legal process, contractual obligations, or to protect students, users, TAJPM or the public.
  • Business changes: information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, reorganization or sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice requirements.

Providers acting for TAJPM are expected to use information only for the services they provide and to protect it appropriately.

6. Location visibility and permissions

Precise background location is a core feature of TAJPM Driver during a driver-initiated active shift. It supports dispatch, including finding the nearest available driver, and allows navigation and lets authorized parents, districts and TAJPM operations view route progress. Monitors can view their assigned trip and passenger information, but they cannot access live driver-route tracking. Drivers are shown an in-app explanation before the operating system permission request and can stop collection by ending their shift. A driver may change location access in device settings, but dispatch, navigation, starting a route and live tracking may be unavailable without the required permission.

Notification, camera and photo-library permissions can also be changed in device settings. Revoking notification access stops device alerts but does not automatically delete previously stored notification records.

7. Retention and account deletion

We retain personal information while an account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Services, meet school transportation and safety obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and comply with law. Retention periods vary according to the record and the reason it was created.

When an account deletion request is completed, TAJPM removes or de-identifies account credentials, active sessions, push tokens, notification history and profile information that is no longer needed. Driver or monitor documents and other role-specific records are removed where the system and applicable requirements permit. Parent-to-passenger account associations are removed.

Limited completed-route, safety, incident, support, accounting or contractual records may be retained when necessary for legitimate legal or operational obligations. Where feasible, the account identifier is replaced or the record is de-identified, access is restricted, and the retained information is not used to keep the deleted account active.

You can submit a request inside the app under Account management or use our public account deletion page. We aim to complete reviewed requests within 30 days and will send an email when the request is completed or if more information is required.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including authenticated access, role-based authorization, encrypted network transport and restricted administrative access. No system can guarantee absolute security, so users should protect their credentials and contact us if they suspect unauthorized access.

9. Your choices and rights

  • Review and update available account information in the Services.
  • Manage device permissions through the app and operating system.
  • Request access, correction or deletion where applicable.
  • Contact us to object to or ask questions about particular processing.

Rights differ by location, and we may need to verify identity before acting on a request. Authorized parents or guardians may contact us about student information connected to their transportation services.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the Services, our providers or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after an update is subject to the current policy, but we will request new consent when required for a new use of sensitive information.

11. Contact us

Contact TAJPM with privacy questions, requests or concerns. Never send a password or verification code by email.
